A Special Birthday Gift

"I miss him a lot." Isabella, Age 8

Philanthropy comes in all shapes and sizes. Isabella asked her friends to support her fundraising efforts for the Packard Center instead of bringing a present to her recent birthday party.

Isabella, a fourth grader from Baltimore, Maryland, is no stranger to the disease, having lost her beloved grandfather to ALS in 2013.  Her generosity inspires us, funds research, and brings hope to those who suffer with ALS.

To thanks her for her generosity, Isabella was invited to visit the Packard Center clinic, where she saw the research her donation supported first hand.
