Your donation will bring hope to those with ALS

Today, we are encouraged by the many promising clinical trials, creative research projects and astounding technological advances that offer ALS patients hope

The Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins has been pushing the limits of scientific knowledge to uncover effective treatments for ALS for over twenty years. Thanks to our generous community of supporters, we have provided funding for the most innovative scientific investigators to work together and bring this devastating disease to an end. We firmly believe that an aggressive and concerted effort offers the best opportunity for success.

Every 90 minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with ALS and there is currently no way to effectively stop its progression. The need is profound but now is also a time to feel hopeful. ALS is an extraordinarily complex disease. Only through intense collaborative research and scientific discovery can we seek to change the course of the disease and offer patients a brighter, more hopeful future.

Packard Center researchers and clinicians are working tirelessly to advance ALS research. Today, we are encouraged by the many promising clinical trials, creative research projects and astounding technological advances that offer ALS patients hope. The energy behind these collaborations moves science forward and brings us, step-by-step, closer to our common goal – an end to ALS.
